Biography: 

Martin Knights has more than 40 years experience directing and managing all aspects of civil engineering and infrastructure, business and projects, with particular technical emphasis on tunnelling, geotechnical, hydro, rail, highway and subsurface urban engineering projects.

He is the founder and Managing Director of a 600 strong International Engineering and Science Practice. He has a wide range of international and UK experience in engineering management and technical best practices.

He is the past President of the ITA and an Independent Consulting Engineer. He is a chartered UK Engineer, a Fellow of The Institution of Civil Engineers, a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineers UK, as well as a Trustee of the Engineering Heritage Museum in London. In 2010 Martin Knights won the British Tunnelling Society Medal for International Achievements.
